The Body Bible Gods

Welcome to Body Bible!

This site was designed so that 3 women could share their passion for healthy food with everyone. All three of us live and breathe health and fitness on a daily basis and wanted a platform to help educate and inspire others. So who are we? Here’s a little about each if us…

KARISSA COLLEDGE (older sister)

I’m a full time Personal Trainer at George St Platinum Fitness First in Sydney’s CBD. I qualified as a PT in 2007 and have loved my job since day one. I have recently gotten into sports modeling comps and I’m hooked! I’ve got a coach that keeps me in line (even during off season) and I’ve been able to take my training and dieting to a whole new level. Like so many women I’ve spent a lot of my spare time working out the answer to the million dollar question…how can I get the perfect body? Well it’s definitely possible, simple even, but its not always easy. The real question is- how bad do you want it?

SAMANTHA COLLEDGE (younger sister)

I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease when I was three years old and have been taking responsibility for what goes in my mouth ever since. But it wasn’t until I was a teenager that I established a genuine appreciation and awareness for a healthy and balanced diet. This deeper understanding of food and exercise has helped me steadily shed 20 kilograms and keep it off since 2008. Two driving factors in my physical and mental transformation were the support and knowledge of my aunty Pandy and sister Riss. I know how hard it can be to prioritise a healthy lifestyle – I’m a Cardio Box trainer at Brisbane Boxing Gym in West End, a receptionist at Barambah Organics and a full-time Psychological Science student at the University of Queensland. With such a full life I need vitality, so I’m always on the hunt for what kinds of food don’t weigh me down.

My passion has always been in food. I have a personal training background and am a self confessed health junkie. I too experienced a life changing moment in my early 20’s And lost about 10kg and from then on I have embraced a holistic approach to health and vitalty which has helped me manage a very busy and full life but making exercise and healthy food my priority. We often get it the wrong way round and put off exercise and good food because we are too busy. I grow organic fruit and veggies in my garden so i have live fresh food a t my fingertips. I do believe that “food is thy medicine and medicine is thy food” i turn 50 years old next year and feel fit, in great shape and ready to embrace the next 50 and hopefully motivate as many people as possible to be be in the best condition they possibly can so they can live life to its fullest.
